Previously, Rebecca specialized in arts and entertainment sponsor acquisition, marketing, event production and public relations for the New York-based organization Gen Art, the City of Miami Beach’s Cultural Affairs division, the City of Miami Mayor’s Office, Miami-Dade College, NWS and Poder Magazine. She also executed an expansion feasibility plan for international media company Time Out and served as the Consulting Editor for its Miami Guide Book 2008 edition. Rebecca started her career with the National Basketball Association in New York as an International Publicist.
Rebecca is an active member of the community currently serving as a board member of the Overtown Music Project, board member and Treasurer of 85 Broads Miami, the Vice-President of the Georgetown Alumni Club of Miami, a National Council Director of Friends of the New World Symphony and as her business school class’ Alumni Representative. She was formerly the Vice-Chair for the Next Gen Council of Community Partnership for the Homeless, Co-President of the Georgetown Alumni Club of Miami, Founding Board member of the Arsht Center’s Green Room Society, Executive Committee member of Fashionably Conscious benefiting Coconut Grove Cares, an interviewer for Georgetown’s undergraduate admissions program and a fundraising mentor for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program.
Born and raised in New York City and fluent in Spanish, Rebecca received her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern) and graduated cum laude from Georgetown University.
