Rebecca Fishman Lipsey

Rebecca Fishman Lipsey is Chief Executive Officer of Radical Partners, an accelerator that helps social entrepreneurs to grow their visions to scale.  Winner of the 2010 International Stevie Award for Women in Business for “Best Non-Profit Executive”, a Miami Fellow alumna, and a closet musician, Rebecca is passionate about strengthening community through education, third spaces, exceptional leadership, and bursts of creativity.

Previously, Rebecca served as the Executive Director of Teach For America in Miami, a national organization focused on narrowing the achievement gap facing low-income youth.  During her tenure as Executive Director, Rebecca tripled the size of Miami’s organization, increased fundraising seventeen-times-over annually, established a joint masters program with the University of Miami, and created an innovative hybrid partnership with Miami Dade County Public Schools to share staff, save costs, and increase results.  Rebecca began her work at Teach For America as a 4th grade teacher in Harlem, NY, and her greatest joy is hearing about which colleges her students are getting into.

Rebecca is an accomplished musician with an original song featured in the documentary, “Hungry to be Heard”, and musical performances featured on multiple completion records.  Rebecca has lived and taught in four countries, has a Masters in Education from Bank Street College of Education, and was the valedictory speaker of her graduating class at the University of Pennsylvania.
